A Beginner’s Series to Aerial Yoga
Ready to take your yoga practice into the air, but a little nervous to jump right in? Myriad will be offering our highly-rated introductory course this Spring to help guide you through the basics of an Aerial Yoga practice. Aerial is a casual departure from our typical yoga classes — these classes create an open environment to practice unusual fitness movement and challenge your body in unique ways. This fun and playful movement style incorporates aspects of postural yoga, breath work, body weight and dynamic movement.
Throughout this four week course you will become familiar with Aerial terminology, get comfortable with the silk, learn basic Aerial postures, and begin to work with inversions and hanging from the silk. With a capacity of only eight students per class, you will receive a focused attention to help you feel safe and confident. Finish out the month feeling prepared to take on an Aerial class, ready to float through the movements!
