Aerial Teacher Training for Registered Yoga Teachers
Join Myriad Yoga for a comprehensive Aerial Teacher Training to learn all the basics needed to lead a safe, effective and fun Aerial Yoga class.
Our four week curriculum is structured to give you plenty of time to practice hands-on, so that you can experience the feeling of the silk as both a supportive prop and challenging adaptation. Your practical application is layered with lectures on postures, sequencing, terminology and safety, providing you a full scope on Aerial Yoga. Step out of this training understanding the complexity of an Aerial Yoga class — the dos and don’ts, the whys and hows, and the confidence you need to lead.
Teachers can receive 25 hours of continuing education credits through the Yoga Alliance for full participation.
Schedule and Structure
A majority of your training will be practical application and lectures with 23 hours of in-person training. Students should expect 2 hours of at-home work to be done on their own. This must be completed to receive your certificate of completion.
Your cohort will meet every Sunday from September 13th through October 4th. Trainings will run from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
Your registration also includes two months of Unlimited Membership to Myriad Yoga for September and October. We believe that a deep personal practice builds valuable lived experience for you to teach from. Myriad encourages you to attend Aerial Yoga and regular mat yoga classes for as much practice as possible!
Who should attend?
Aerial Yoga Teaching Training is for registered Yoga Teachers only. You must have at least a 200-HR certification to participate.
This training is perfect for any Teacher looking to add a unique and fun perspective to their teaching and who wishes to diversify their offerings. See your practice and teaching through a brand new lens to help refresh any stagnant approaches.
