Winter Yoga Nidra
Winter is a time for rest — but sometimes the hustle of modern life can make it challenging for us to sit in stillness with ourselves. Join us for an hour-long Yoga Nidra in which we take time to hold and allow stillness. With nowhere else to be, we might allow the body to be at ease and to settle, finding a deeper connection to the unconscious, and space to reset for the year ahead.
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a gentle way to move into a deep state of rest. Different than meditation, Yoga Nidra actually encourages a sleep-state, a place of deep healing – where mind and body are at rest, but consciousness is awake. Yoga Nidra can help reduce anxiety, build immunity, reduce effects of stress, and it can help you gain more restful sleep cycles.
