June Full Moon Reflections + Yoga
June’s full moon is the Strawberry Moon, named after the ripening of strawberries during this time. Symbolically this moon represents abundance and the flourishing of nature. In Braiding Sweetgrass, Robin Wall Kimmerer shares the importance of noticing nature, and how strawberries teach us the beauty of generosity and reciprocity. The native people of this land measured time by nature. The Strawberry full moon marks the last moon cycle of Spring and transformation into abundance of fruit, hot temperatures, and buzzing life.
