Summer Yoga Nidra

Provide yourself with a moment of rest and reset with our Summer Yoga Nidra at Myriad Yoga.

Summer is a time of activity, heat, and constant movement. It can be hard to find the time to relax and just let your mind be quiet. Join Myriad Yoga for a restorative Yoga Nidra session to help your body move from a time of action to a time of letting go. Allow yourself the privilege of settling into stillness, quiet and absolute reaxation.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a gentle way to move into a deep state of rest. Different than meditation, Yoga Nidra actually encourages a sleep-state, a place of deep healing- where mind and body are at rest, but consciousness is awake. Yoga Nidra can help reduce anxiety, build immunity, reduce effects of stress, and it can help you gain more restful sleep cycles.

Who should attend?

This class is open to everyone, regardless of experience level. No experience with Yoga required. Please note that this class will be held in stillness, the practitioner should expect a quiet, meditative class with little to no movement.

What to Expect:

  • Utilize provided yoga props to set yourself up in a comfortable and restorative position
  • Soothing guided meditation to help you relax the body and mind through body scans and visualizations
  • A safe, quiet space to self-reflect and allow yourself to let go
  • Leave feeling refreshed and renewed

  • Comfortable yoga attire
  • Yoga mat
  • Water bottle
