January Full Moon Reflections + Yoga
Join Marta for our monthly Full Moon Reflections + Yoga class on Thursday, November 14th! This special monthly yoga class has a different Teacher each month, leaving no two classes the same. Full Moon Reflections + Yoga combines postural yoga, breath work, meditation and special theming to create a holistic experience for mind, body + spirit. January’s Full Moon in Leo features the Wolf Moon — a time to find resilience within ourselves and without, by connecting to inner strength and community.
This Full Moon reminds us to find our strength both personally and collectively. Deep Winter is a time of harshness and scarcity, and as a result, we tend to curl in towards ourself and find solace. The Wolf Moon suggests that we seek resilience. Resilience is found within us, and also in those that we love and trust.
Culturally, this moon was named the Wolf Moon for the calling of the Wolves frequently heard at this time of the ear. Wolves call out and howl to locate pack members, reinforce social bonds, define territory and coordinate hunting. These are qualities of community, instinct, and strength.
Deep Winter provides space to turn inwards and consider our deepest desires, the fuel that stimulates fire in our life. Rather than stowing away in absolute solitude, we reach out and call to our pack. There is strength and stability to be found in communing with oved ones, paired alongside intentional reflection.
By the light of the full Wolf Moon we center. After passing the Winter Solstice we are now in the phase of growing lightness, and soon we will arrive on the other side. By tapping into our own reserves and also those of our community, we survive and thrive in another season. As this moon wanes, look to what you can celebrate and release, providing space for your dreams and deepest desires to manifest.
Join Marta for an intentional evening of yoga and reflection.

Marta Gruber
Marta has a passion for helping individuals connect with and feel empowered in their own bodies. Their own practice has ebbed and flowed with different emphasis and styles throughout their life, and they feel that the same permission should be offered to their students. She believes that exploration is an important part of finding acceptance in our bodies and that rest is a powerful form of rebellion. It is these beliefs that encourage a sense of softness, playfulness and affirming support with every yoga class they lead.
Whether leading a restorative practice or an active vinyasa flow, Marta strives to bring a down-to-earth, genuine approach to her teaching, hoping to help forge grounded confidence in each student’s practice. With over 18 years of experience practicing yoga, her whimsical sense of humor and vast knowledge of the practice is woven into each class she teaches, opening the door for students to more deeply discover connections between poses, themselves, and the community around them.
