Specialty Yoga Classes
What are Specialty Yoga Classes?
Myriad Yoga Teachers come from a variety of backgrounds with an array of skills and assets that compliment a Yoga practice. From dance, to meditation, to energy work, our Teachers are diverse, thoughtful and creative with their craft. Our specialty classes blend philosophy, reflection, dance, somatics, meditation, journaling, astrology and much more into a traditional yoga class for a unique approach to discovery of spirit.
From weekly to monthly offerings, the studio invites you to extend your yoga practice beyond typical asanas and to invite in complimentary modalities to your personal practice.
Specialty Class Types
Divine Fem Flow
A weekly departure from traditional yoga mat classes. Combining elements of yoga asana, somatics, breath work, energetics, dance and floor work to get you out of your head and into your body. This class is designed specifically for those who align with feminine energies as a way to help you embrace, connect, and find self-love and appreciation for your body.
Full Moon Reflections & Yoga
A reflective class to honor and absorb the energies of the full moon. This monthly class holds space for you to tune in and realign with your intentions from a place of grace and mindfulness. Enjoy a fluid blend of yoga asanas combined with space to reflect and meditate. With a different lunar energy each month, your experience will change season to season, always allowing for variety and unique perspective.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a gentle way to move into a deep state of rest. Different than meditation, Yoga Nidra actually encourages a sleep-state, a place of deep healing- where mind and body are at rest, but consciousness is awake. Reduce anxiety, build immunity, reduce effects of stress, and promote more restful sleep cycles. Invite yourself to self care refreshing the body and the mind.
Please Note
Any class indicating Intermediate on the schedule will include more difficult and complex postures and transitions, including less common asanas. These classes are recommended for individuals with a base knowledge of traditional asanas, who feel comfortable modifying their own postures, and taking rest when needed.
