Elevate Your Practice

Aerial Yoga

aerial yoga class at Myriad Yoga

What is Aerial Yoga?

Aerial Yoga uses a silk hammock to support, challenge, and enhance your yoga practice. The hammock acts as a prop and stabilizer as you move through a mix of traditional and non-traditional yoga postures, both on the ground and in the air. Access deeper stretch sensations and be able to invert with ease. Aerial gives your mat practice new depth as it  challenges the body and mind.

Aerial Yoga Class Types

Morning Wake Up

A slower-paced, stretch-focused class designed to wake up the body and prepare you for the day ahead. Morning Wake-up supports body awareness, balance, and confidence as you find steadiness and momentum to start your day.

Aerial Yoga

A slower-paced yoga class with emphasis on individual posture alignment and conscious breathing, while encouraging strength, flexibility, and balance.

Advanced

A faster-paced class designed for students with an established aerial yoga practice. Using the silk hammock as a dynamic tool rather than a teaching aid, this class explores more complex shapes, transitions, and sustained aerial work, both grounded and fully in the air.

Participant Guidelines

No aerial yoga experience necessary for any of our workshops or series, but yoga/fitness experience highly recommended.

  • Expect to invert and spin some in class.
