Need some deeper rest, recovery, release, repair, resource, renewal?
Take time with you, here.
Join us for REKINDLE, a special Winter Solstice restorative yoga and sound bath experience, honoring the dark and welcoming the light!
The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year… bringing us deep into the dark, within and all around us. It is also in this moment that life starts to shift as the earth begins to tilt back towards the sun. (A both/and homecoming.)
We are invited to return home to ourselves in this moment – to pause from all the external efforts, to get closer to all that is unknown and unresolved in us, and to remember and attune to the light we hold.
There is magic in slowing down; in giving our bodies and nervous systems the felt experience of support; in allowing ourselves to be safe and held. In this workshop, we’ll combine the yoga of relaxation with the capacity of sound healing for a soothing, soulful experience.
We’ll move through a slow, deeply supported restorative yoga practice while also embraced in a healing sound bath to release stress, unwind tension, and nurture repair – body, mind, and soul. No experience in restorative yoga or sound healing is needed – you get to receive and be guided through the entire experience.
Who should attend?
This special event is open to everyone, regardless of experience with yoga. Restorative Yoga invites students to slow down and hold gentle poses with great support from props, allowing ourselves to be held. Sound bath experiences allow us to lay back and take in, soaking in the benefits passively.
What to Expect:
- Restorative Yoga: A guided practice of longer held relaxation postures fully supported by many props.
- Sound Bath: A soft and soothing multidimensional sound bath experience using crystal bowls and other instruments.
- Relaxing Atmosphere: The lights will be dimmed with candlelight available.
- Supported Rest:All props needed will be provided, though you are welcome to bring anything else that may make you comfortable.
- Meditation & Quiet: Students should expect a quiet atmosphere with the sounds of the experience to guide you into a passive meditative experience.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable and warm yoga attire
- Yoga mat
- Water bottle
- An open mind and heart
