ALign Yoga
What is Align Yoga?
A slower-paced class that spends time breaking down the alignment of postures. Incorporating aspects of Hatha, Iyengar and functional yoga, your Teacher will offer props and modifications to help a pose comfortably fit your body. Expect to spend several breaths in each pose, allowing time to align your body with your breath. Some classes may even take time to instruct more complex postures in a workshop style.
Our Align classes help to emphasize individual alignment for your body, conscious breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. These classes build core strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as concentration and breath control.
Please Note
Any class indicating Level 2 (*2) on the schedule will include more difficult and complex postures and transitions, including non-traditional asanas. These classes are recommended for individuals with a base knowledge of traditional asanas, who feel comfortable modifying their own postures, and taking rest when needed.
