StRetch Yoga
What is Stretch Yoga?
A great class to work on flexibility and recovery, for both yoga students and athletes. This class is slower-paced, with a focus on mobility and stretching. Similar to a Yin Yoga class, Students may expect to hold postures passively for 2 – 3 minutes at a time. Your teacher will offer props and modifications to help the poses comfortably fit your body. This class may also pull inspiration from mobility exercises and myofascial work, using the aid of props such as massage balls, straps, blocks, and foam rollers.
Yin Yoga teaches us how to slow down, to be quiet and to move into the deeper parts of ourselves where we can access our innate wisdom and vital life force. Walk away from these classes feeling release and calm, with a renewed sense of openness and mobility in the body.
