What is Stretch Yoga?

A great class to work on flexibility and recovery, for both yoga students and athletes. This class is slower-paced, focused on mobility and stretching. Similar to a Yin Yoga class, Students may expect to hold postures passively for 2 – 3 minutes at a time. This class may also pull inspiration from mobility exercises and myofascial work, using the aid of props such as massage balls, straps, blocks, and foam rollers. 

Yin teaches us how to slow down, to be quiet, to move into the deeper parts of ourselves where we can access our innate wisdom and vital life force. Walk away from these classes feeling release and calm, with a renewed sense of openness and mobility in the body.
