Restore Yoga

What is Restore Yoga?

This heavily propped practice features postures that focus on resting the mind and body, and conscious breathing. Each posture is fitted with plenty of props so that the body may feel supported, providing release through passive holds. As the body softens, this practice allows the mind to quiet – providing an overall sense of restoration. Prepare to hold a short sequence of postures for 5 – 10 minutes at a time, in a Restorative Yoga style.

Restore classes will guide students to a meditative practice with intentional breathing, gentle opening, and conscious self-care. Restorative teaches us how to slow down, to be quiet, to move into the deeper parts of ourselves where we can access our innate wisdom and vital life force
