Restore Yoga
What is Restore Yoga?
Our Restorative Yoga class. This heavily propped practice features postures that focus on resting the mind and body, while inviting conscious breathing. Each posture is fitted with plenty of props so that the body may feel supported, providing release through long, passive holds. As the body softens, this practice allows the mind to quiet – providing an overall sense of restoration and renewal. Prepare to hold a short sequence of postures for 5 – 10 minutes at a time, in a Restorative Yoga style.
Restore classes will guide students to a meditative practice with intentional breathing, gentle opening, and conscious self-care. Restorative Yoga teaches us how to slow down, to be quiet, to move into the deeper parts of ourselves where we can access our innate wisdom and vital life force within.
