Winter is cold and barren, and the very end of Winter can feel like an eternity. At this time, is can be helpful to actively focus on nurturing and nourishing the body, mind and spirit. This applies to what we take in physically and mentally, the activities we participate in and also the nourishment of our intentions and desires. March sits at the cusp of Spring, and by nurturing these spaces, we prepare ourselves to blossom in the upcoming months. We are like buds on the branches of barren trees, full of luscious potential! How will you nourish these spaces as you await the oncoming season?

What does it mean to nourish?

 

Nourishing the body, mind and soul can all come about in a number of different ways.  Some forms of nourishment are very obvious and tangible, such as the food and water we drink, or the exercise we perform. Other methods are more subtle and emotional, such as the relationships we keep, or attention to our hobbies and interests. Further still, some methods of nourishment can be very spiritual, such as setting and creating intentions and listening to the desires of the heart. 

 

In this Episode, Marta and Zoe break down different methods of nourishing the body, mind and soul, and explore some of their personal anecdotes around these methods.
