Celia Sadjadi first tried yoga during her track and field training in college. Her practice deepened in early 2018 after her graduate school supervisor suggested yoga might be a helpful tool for stress relief (she was right!), and after moving to Indy later that year, Celia became a member of Myriad Yoga. In 2021, she earned her 200 RYT certification at Myriad Yoga and joined the Myriad Yoga staff in January 2022.

Celia’s warm presence and dynamic yoga flows attract students of all levels. She loves creating sequences that are both powerful and playful, and she also enjoys weaving elements of mindfulness into her classes. Her highest priority is her students’ sense of peace and agency on and off of their mats, and Celia makes every effort to cultivate a space in which her students feel empowered to take exactly what they need during their practice.

By day, Celia works as an EMDR-trained psychotherapist and is a freelance writer. She loves playing guitar, singing, hiking, and exploring new corners of the world with her husband, Geoff. You will likely find her walking her 150 pound English Mastiff, Marshall, at Garfield Park, taking a Bootcamp class at Myriad, or singing/dancing along to her favorite song, Don’t Stop Believin’ (and YES! You will hear some version of this song, acoustic, instrumental, or the original, on most of her class playlists! ).
