Alyssa discovered asana when she was 16 and was hooked from the very beginning. She spent many days that winter break practicing various poses in her bedroom. Soon, she discovered that yoga was far more than just a physical practice.  As she delved deeper, she discovered the reflective and spiritual aspects of the practice, which quickly became a safe space for self-discovery.

Over the years, Alyssa developed a passion for deepening her study of yoga and sharing its benefits with others. In 2020, she earned her 200-hour RYT certification through GoYoga. She went on to graduate with a Master’s in Social Work in 2023 and is now a practicing mental health therapist. In both her therapy and yoga work, she is guided by compassion and a commitment to creating supportive spaces. As a yoga instructor, Alyssa’s goal is to foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where yoga feels accessible for all.
