BUCK Moon in Aquarius: Growth Through authenticity

July Full Moon Reflections + Yoga

July’s full moon is known as the Buck Moon, named for the time of year when male deer begin growing new antlers. Though soft and covered in velvet at first, these antlers will continue to strengthen over the coming months, making the Buck Moon a beautiful symbol of growth, resilience, and becoming. It reminds us that meaningful transformation doesn’t happen overnight. Sometimes our greatest growth is happening internally, long before anyone else is able to see it. This is an invitation to trust your own unfolding and recognize that you don’t need to be “finished” to be worthy of celebrating.

Astrologically, this full moon falls in the sign of Aquarius inviting us to release outdated expectations, embrace what makes us unique, and prioritize authenticity over fitting in. It is a sign deeply connected to innovation, vision, and community, reminding us that our individuality becomes even more powerful when shared in service of something greater. This full moon offers an opportunity to reflect on where you may be holding yourself back in order to meet others’ expectations and where you’re being called to think differently, imagine a brighter future, and cultivate relationships that allow you to show up as your most authentic self. As with every full moon, this is a time of illumination, helping bring clarity to what is ready to be released and what is ready to continue growing.

Zoe Lowden

Zoe’s passion for movement has been a lifelong pursuit, starting with dance at the age of three and continuing through her college years. However, after a series of impactful life events, she felt drawn to a different path within movement—one focused on healing and inspiring others.

She started taking her yoga practice seriously in 2020, jumping in right away to pursue her 200hr certification. She immediately gravitated toward yogic philosophy & principles, as well as psychic readings. When Zoe is not teaching, you can find her giving Tarot readings at events around the city.

Her guiding belief is that love is the universal language, which she infuses into her classes. Zoe believes yoga should be inclusive and taught with humility and grace. Her teaching style prioritizes rest and introspection, offering a slower-paced approach to foster a deeper connection with oneself, with a bit of humor and light-hearted energy.
